While Jack evades Russian security guards, Buchanan assigns a new agent, Mike Doyle, to raid the Russian consulate to capture Markov and rescue Jack.Logan calls on his estranged ex-wife in the hopes that she can help to defuse the brewing crisis between the U.S. and Russia.Gredenko prepares to strike at another target. Meanwhile, Daniels gives a Middle Eastern ambassador a strong ultimatum in order to gain his cooperation in the hunt for the remaining nukes.

Hearts and Minds

When Locke learns that Boone wants to share their “secret” with Shannon, Locke decides to teach him a lesson. Boone and Shannon’s dark past is revealed in a shocking backstory that recalls their relationship right before the plane crash. Kate, who has become a confidante to the soft-spoken Sun, is puzzled by Sun’s mysterious behavior. A hungry Hurley must convince Jin to share his fish by making up for offending Jin by rejecting his offer of raw fish early on, or he’ll continue to suffer digestive problems from the limited island diet.

The Man From Tallahassee

When Kate and Locke arrive at the Others’ camp, Ben promises to tell Locke the island’s secrets as long as he stops his destructive plan, and Kate’s reunion with Jack doesn’t go very well when she learns that the Others have offered him a deal. More of Locke’s troubled past is revealed.

The Secret

When Michael slips some sly references about Pam in his conversations with Jim, Jim quickly tries to do damage control to make sure that no one else in the office finds about his crush on Pam, all while slamming himself with regret for ever telling Michael in the first place. Jim goes to drastic measures, even bonding with Michael at a Hooters restaurant for lunch. Nonetheless, Jim’s efforts do little to keep Michael from revealing the secret, but Jim smooths the situation over with Pam to make it seem like nothing more than a tiny crush in the past. Meanwhile, Dwight conducts an investigation about Oscar’s mysterious absence from work, and what Dwight finds, though it goes way over his head, is surprising.

The Return

Oscar returns from his vacation and ponders his future with the company, while Andy takes advantage of the current state of the office to make a move towards becoming Michael's number two.

Dinner Party

Out of excuses, Jim and Pam join Jan and Michael for a dinner party. Things get complicated when Andy and Angela are asked to join, and Dwight's jealousy gets the best of him.

Stress Relief

Dwight must makes amends with the office after his fire safety seminar goes awry; Michael tries to get his employees to relax; Andy becomes convinced that Pam and Jim are film gurus.
